Bhrigu Bindu - What are the functions and how will you calculate it

****************Bhrigu Bindu & its importance *************

In Jyotish the concept/ idea / uses of Brigu Bindu or Karma Bindu or Destiny Point is huge. Transitions or aspect of planets in Brigu Bindu matters most predicting events of life. Planetary transit over brigu bindu is more effective & important than aspect. If beneffic planet like Jupiter aspects on BB (Bhrigu Bindu) then some goals of life like – marriage , purchasing property etc will happen. BB are your karmic cycle which must perform before you die. Which is your karmic baggage. The Placement of BB in different house form lagna also indicates some special karmic goals of life which I will discuss later. 

We could calculate the BB for any divisional charts. But the BB of rasi chart and navamsa matters most.

While calculating BB, You need to have exact longitude of Rahu & moon. Now find out how much distence moon travelled form Rahu. Basically BB is the middle point of rahu and moon. Let me help you with a simple example.

**************EXAMPLE 1*************

Rahu – 25 degree of capricorn

Moon – 13 degree of scorpio

Now calculate how much degree moon travelled from rahu. And that is 288 degree. Now devide 288 by 2 and that is 144 degree. Now count 144 degree form 25 degree of capricorn and that will be 19 degree of Gemini . This 19 degree of Gemini will be your Brigu Bindu.

********EXAMPLE 2(Live chart) ********

Native is Pisces lagna..

Moon – 7 deg. 1 min in Taurus ( 3 deg. Pisces navamsa )

Rahu – 13 deg. 14 min of Capricorn ( 29 deg. Of capricorn navamsa )

Now calculate the distence how far moon gone form Rahu devide by 2 . The middle point of distence travelled by Moon form rahu stands at 25 deg. Of pisces. Native got marriade in April 27 , 2018. Native was running rahu + ketu dosa.

The  same way the BB of Navamsa stands somewhere at 16 deg. Of Aquarius. As per transits Jupiter was aspecting her BB of Navamsa  despite native was running unfavourable dosa for marriage. ( I have attched the planetary positions of D1 and D9 here) . Though there were other conditions which also proved marriage timing at that time.

Apart than the Jupiter, every planet passes / aspects BB will indicate something as well. In trasit , Every time every planet while passing Brigu Bindu will indicate some gain or loss in life. Beneffic planet will incate and maleffic planet like ketu/ saturn indicate maleffic or loss.  They are being written following –

Saturn , ketu – Indicates havy loss or money , property , divorce , car acidents , snake bites etc

Jupiter – New relationships , new job , job promotion/transfer which was pending for long time and specially some best goals of life  like – marriage  , new property.

For Sun , mercury , venus they are fast moving planet and touches BB one or miltiple times a year so does not hold significant value.
