NAVAMSA - My Detailed Approach - learn the details of D9 or Navamsa today

Hello all, today I am going to tell you regarding navamsa. We all know that the 9th house of d1 is actually navamsa so no need to explain that here. Better we know more the details which is not being discussed in groups or books easily. Some astrologers are of the opinion that D/9 chart is a supplementary chart to D/1 chart. Navamsa is the 1/9th part of a sign or 1/4th part of a nakshatra or 1 pada i.e. 3 degree 20 min of a nakshatra. 

CALCULATIONS - Now 27 Nakshatras are distributed in 12 houses and each nakshatra made by 4 padas and each rasi consists 9 padas so there are 108 navamsa padas as well.

Now, lets learn, how you will calculate these Navamsa. The following picture in this regard will help you a lot( Collected from Net)

Now, We know, 

fiery signs are - Aries , Leo , Sagittarius 

Earth signs are - Taurus , Virgo , Capricorn

Airy signs are  - Gemini , Libra , Aquarius 

Watery signs are - Cancer , Scorpio Pisces 

and,

Movable signs are - Aries , cancer , Libra, Capricorn 

fixed signs are - Taurus , Leo , Scorpio , Aquarius 

Dual signs are - Gemini , Virgo ,Sagittarius , Pisces 

Now,

For Movable signs count form the sign itself.

For Dual signs count 5th sign form itself.

For Fixed signs count 9th sign form itself.

let me understand this with an example -

Mars is in 11 degree of capricorn which is in Sravana Nakshatra Pada 1. Capricorn is a Movable sign and Sravana Nakshatra pada 1 is the 4th pada of Capricorn( In picture . 1st three padas are Uttarashada Nakshatra and 4th pada is form Sravana Nakshatra ). So, 

• Uttarashada Nakshatra pada 2 will be in Capricorn sign in Navamsa in Uttarashada Nakshatra pada 2
• Uttarashada Nakshatra pada 3 will be in Aquarius sign in Navamsa  in Dhanistha Nakshatra pada 4
• Uttarashada Nakshatra pada 4 will be in pisces sign in Navamsa and in Uttarbhadrapada pada 2
• and finally Sravana Nakshatra pada 1 will be in Aries sign in Navamsa and in Aswani Nakshatra Pada 4

Thats so simple. If you still cannot understand there are many examples in Internet just google it. Using the softwares like J. Hora you can also find it very easily.

VARGOTTAMA : A planet is called Vargottama only when it is occupies same sign in rasi/ natal chart and Navamsa or D9. This vargottama planet is very strong. If it is beneficial in your chart i.e. Yogakaraka or lord of Kendra or Dharma houses then it will provide continuously good effect in life or if it is malefic then it will provide malefic effect in your life and that is too continuously . So, you can say vargottama planets are very strong in chart. They will give you very effective results in Dosa and Sub dosa period . The following part of signs are actually vargottama - 

a)The first part of a moveable sign (from 0^0` to 3^20 )

b) The fifth part of a fixed sign (from 13^20` to 16^40`)

c) The ninth part of a dual sign (from 26^40` to 30^00`)

NAVAMSA THE FRUITS OF DHARMA / ARTHA / KAMA / MOKHA - lets learn today what we can learn form navamsa.

1. Every navmasa should have lagna as well. So, like rasi chart 1st check the status of rasi chart  LL( lagna lord form now on) in navamsa chart. If LL is bad position, aspected by maleffics , no beneffic aspect then ultimately the desired result will not be achieved. We will see all panets and all bhabs of rasi chart in Navamsa chart. Any bhab bad in rasi chart but good in navamsa chart simply means good results after struggle and if the opposite then desired results will not be achieved..
2. If the Sun, Moon, Ascendant and Ascendant Lord fall in the vargottam divisions, the native would enjoy a respectable high social status by becoming famous or a leader in his group.The last division of a sign is not considered auspicious, unless it is  Vargottama. If it is vagottama then he would be virtuous, famous, modest and a leader of the society. Usually vargottamsha graha are noticed in the radix and navamsha. Vargottama Navamsas are: a) The first navamsas in chara (moveable) signs ; b) The middle (5th) navamsas in sthira (fixed) signs ; c) The last (9th) navamsas in the dviswabavi (mutable) signs. If the ascendant is vargaottom it will make the chart very very strong.
3. All divition charts shows the fruits of your Dharma & karma. Navamsa is no different. The 11th house form any bhab shows how the goal is defined. The 'Fruits of Dharma' are shown by 11th from 9 i.e. bhab 7. Therefore a major fruit of one's dharma is one's marriage, and the spouse who along with us creates the marriage.
4. ISTA DEVTA - Navamsa will help you to know your Ista Devta. Find the AMK(Atmakaraka planet) in rasi chart and see the position of AMK planet in navamsa. The AMK of rasi chart in navamsa is called 'Karakamsa' . The 12th from the Karakamsa determines the “Istha Devata”. The 12th house from the karakamsa is called the “Jivanmuktamsa”. If there is a graha in the Jivanmuktamsa, it signifies the Devata. If there are more grahas than one, we choose the strongest. If there is no graha in the Jivanmuktamsa, we can see whether any Grahas are aspecting the 12th. If no Grahas aspect it, we can take the 12th Lord as Ishta Devata. Below are the deities of planets - Sun— Vishnu/Rama/Shiva ; Moon— Krishna/Shiva/Parvati ; Mars— Hanuman/Subramanya/Sri Narasimha ; Mer—  Vishnu ; Jup—  Vishnu/Sri Vamana/Dattatreya/Sai Baba ; Ven—  Maha Lakshmi/Parashurama/Maa Gouri ; Sat—  Shani Dev/Hanuman/Kurma/Shiva/Vishnu ; Rahu—Maa Durga/Varaha ; Ketu— Ganesh/Matasya ; Ascendent— Kalki
5. The details results if Navamsa is available in classical books like Brihat Parahara Hora Sastra. No, I am not discussing here. For each Navamsa lagna we can easily determine the relation status , preferences , exceptions of relationships , advantages and disadvantages etc. For Aries navamsa lagna , Gemini lagna etc
6. The LL of d9 indicates ones behaviour towards marriage. Like rasi chart LL of navamsa in 6/8/12 placements considered as bad and in kendra considered as good. In dusthan houses( 6/8/12) indicate negative implications in marriage. If the navamsa lord becomes strong and dominating, such as own house/exalted/ aspected by mars or rahu. spousal concerns must "take a back seat" to the native 's personality development. Spouse-partner must often "take it or leave it" having little power to negotiate for accommodation or change which might conflict with the direct interests of the native 's personality growth. When the lord of D-9 occupies radix lagna, the native's personality dominates the marriage. 
7. PUSHKAR NAVAMSA - Navamsa will help you to figure out Pushkar navamsa. Out of 108 padas only 24 consider as a pushkar navamsa and they are called highly auspecious. Each rashi contains two Pushkas Navamsas, ruled by Moon, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter. The following table will help you to figure out that( collected form Internet).

A simple blog cannot tell everything about Navamsa. There are lots of books in the market to study about Navamsa. Buy one and study and you will know more.

Planets with 29 degree and 0 degree - How they behave in astrology

Planets with 29 degree and planets with 0 degree behaves totally different way and one need to see very perfectly before predicting planetary characteristics of planets sitting in 29 degree or 0 degree.

We know that every planet have a dispersion degree. This means the effect of that planet is available between that dispersion point. Suppose Sun have dispersion degree  is 10 degree front and 10 degree back, did you get it ? let me help you with an example.

Suppose  sun is in 3 Degree of Gemini then the effect of sun will be effective 10 degree front and 10 degree back. means Sun effect will be felt from 19 degree of Taurus to 17 degree of Gemini. Now, think native is Capricorn lagna. So, this means Sun effect will have effect in his 5th house and 6th house originally. Though  classics does not obey this. According to classics The dispersion of a planet for all are the same and it is 15 degree front and 15 degree back. Means, for the above native sun effect will be form 18 degree of Taurus to 18 degree of Gemini. Anyway , we can see this does not effect too much. lets go according to classics since in astrology we should out of classics.

Now , the point is how the planet will behave in 29 degree and 0 degree. Simply the crazy way. We can see a planet is in 29 degree means he is sitting at edge of house. His cosmic lights are from 15 degree of the house it leaving and 15 degree from the house it is going. From the planetary avastas concept that in case of odd rasi such planets are called old( 29 degree) & child (0 degree) and in case of even rasi they are called child( 29 degree) and old( 0 degree) . So, virtually the working capacity of such planets are Nil.

Even KRS recently says planets in 0 degree are zero powerful.

So, planetary energy is distributed between two house and hence made them powerless.

I have explained the calculations the navatara chakra. Now this is post for who dont know what are the functionalities of navatara chakra and what every nakshatra actually does - 

Janma Nakshatra – Thsi is your birthstar, one’s own nature, most influential naksatra. This is the set of three nakshatra which will be your janma nakshatra means where moon resides

Sampat Nakshatra – It shows wealth, it shows the kind of wealth you should possess, how your mind works in taking the resources available.

Vipat Nakshatra – These three nakshatras will bring danger, shows dangers to life and business, bad days.

Kshema Nakshatra – These three nakshatra shows the well-being, cure, time to get healed, if not healed here then can cause problems in next naksatra.

Pratyak Nakshatra – These three nakshatras obstacles, bhadaka, can cause death or death-like suffering, if start an activity on this naksatra there will be many obstacles.

Sädhana Nakshatra  – These three nakshatras shows the achievement, good for starting activities as they will succeed.

Naidhana Nakshatra – These three nakshatras indicates your death, the worst of the bad stars .

Mitra Nakshatra – These three nakshatra people will be your friend, friends who are close.

Ati Mitra Nakshatra – people born in these three nakshatra are best friend, supporters, community, friends will meet you, good for things dealing with crowds. This indicates the people with whoom you are having spritual bonding

NAVATARA CHAKRA - HOW YOU WILL CALCULATE USES OF IT

Nava means nine or 9 and tara means Nakshatra. The circle of 9 starts out of 27 Nakshatra is called Navatara chakra.

The Nine Nakshatra would be following - (1) Janma (2) Sampat (3) Vipata (4) Ksema (5) Pratyari (6) Sadhaka (7) Vadha (8) Mitra and (9) Atimitra.

Suppose you are born on Ashwini Nakshatra, Ashwini will be the starting point of the nakshatra tara chakra and the nakshatras will be termed as below with reference to Ashwini :-

Krittika, Uttara-phalguni, Uttara-shada – Vipat

-There is some controversy of father - some says form 9th some form 10th. I consider it form 10th because father is mother's spouse i.e. 7th form 4.

-2nd spouse and 3rd spouse are called 'douhitro' or sister of 1st one so, they come form 9th and 11th respectively.

-some see 2nd and other wives all form 2nd house.

-3rd house is actually for 1st younger brother, 7th house is 2nd younger brother , 9th house is 3rd younger brother respectively.

10. Saturn and ketu are actually friends but of different poles. They both are actually different in nature. 
11. It is said that Sun could be eaten by rahu.
12. People argue over rahu and ketu dristi - Many says rahu aspects 7th , 4th and 8th house from where it is placed. ketu aspects 7th , 3rd and 10th house from where it is placed. 
13. All the 27 nakshatra were the wife of Moon.
14. Sun and moon only own 1 house. Rest of the other planets own two houses.
15. Sun and moon in a house generally considered bad. Native born in amabossya. But in case of Scorpio ascendant it creates Dharma-karma adhipati yoga.
16. Venus is the only malefic for Saggi ascendant.
17. Sun and moon never goes retrograde.
18. Rahu and ketu matured at the end , when all other planets gets matured.( age 48) 
19. Moon is the fastest planet in the chart and Saturn the lowest. 
20. Just by seeing then position of Saturn one can tell in which native born.
21. I read that Chanting the names of the Saptarishis is very beneficial and auspecious
22. Mula Nakshatra( pada 1) considered the most dangerous point in the 360 degree zodiac. Any planet or lagna is in this part considered lost of its energy. Native may be self-destructive.
23. Planets in 29 degree , 0 degree and 1 degree carries special meaning and significance. In a chart if you see any planet in this degree you need to be very caring while predicting.

PLANETARY EXALTATION & DEBILITATION AND THEIR OTHER ASTROLOGY POINTS

In this article I am going to share the planetary exaltation, debilitation ,Multrikon , own house and other attributes to note before I go into deep.  in detail along with and their other details point by point - 

EXALTATION

1. Sun gets exaltation in Aries. 10 degree of Aries is the highest exaltation point. Aswani nakshatra( Ruled by ketu , Sun is the ketu's enemy but for sun ketu is equal) . Aries is plance of mars - Sun thinks mars is my friend and vise versa. 
2. Moon gets exalted in Taurus. Highest exalted point of 3 degree of taurus Krittika Nakshatra( Ruled by Sun - Moon dont consider sun is my enemy and sun think friends too). Moon is also not enemy of Venus but Venus see moon is his enemy. 
3. Jupiter gets exalted in cancer. 5 Deg of cancer is his highest exaltation point. Which falls under Paschymi nakshatra( Ruled by Saturn - Jupiter and Saturn are equal to each other). Jupiter and moon is friends as well.
4. Mercury gets exalted in its own house. Highest exaltation point is 15 deg if Virgo(Hasta Nakshatra , ruled by moon - Moon dont think mercury is my enemy but mercury consider moon is his enemy) . Mercury is own house so no friendship.
5. Saturn gets exalted in Libra. Highest exaltation point is 20 degree of Libra( Vishaka Nakshatra, ruled by Jupiter  - Saturn think Jupiter is my equal and vise versa. Here Venus and Saturn both are friends to each other. 
6. Mars gets exalted in Capricorn. The highest exaltation point is 28 deg, of Capricorn. (Dhanista nakshatra , own Nakshatra) . Saturn consider mars as his enemy but mars considers Saturn netrual or equal. 
7. venus gets exalted in Pisces. Jupiter consider venus as his enemy but venus thinks Jupiter is my equal. 27 Degree of pisces( Revati Nakshatra - venus and mercury are both friends to each other)

DEBILITATION

1. Sun debilitated in Libra, top debilitation point is 10 degree of libra. This means Suns gets debilitated in swati Nakshatra, ruled by rahu. Libra The house is venus. Sun and venus are enemies to each other. Sun and Rahu are as well.
2. Moon debilitated in Scorpio,top debilitation points is 3 degree of Scorpio. The 3 degree of Scorpio stands at Vishaka nakshatra ruled by Jupiter. well, moon and Jupiter cannot be said enemy because they create the power Gaja kesari Yoga. To Jupiter moon is my friend and to Jupiter moon is equals to me.
3. Mars debilitated in cancer, highest debilitation point is 28 degree of cancer. The 28 degree of cancer is in Ashlesha nakshatra which is ruled by Mercury. Well, to mars mercury is his enemy but moon is his friend.
4. Mercury is debilitated in Pisces and highest debilitation point is 15 degree of Pisces. That is in UttarBhadra Nakshatra, ruled by Saturn. To Saturn mercury is his friend. And Venus ? Well , that the boy-girl relationship. 
5. Jupiter Debilitated in Capricorn and highest debilitation point is 5 degree of Capricorn. The 5 degree of Capricorn mans Uttarsaadha Nakshatra( ruled by Sun) . Sun and Jupiter are friends to each other. But Jupiter and Saturn ? Saturn and Jupiter equal to each ot
6. Venus debilitated in Virgo and highest debilitation point is 27 degree of Virgo. That means Chitra nakshatra( Ruled by Mars) well you all know mars and Venus relationship again, no need to repeat twice. And the Virgo is the house of mercury. The relationship between Venus and mercury you just read. No need to repeat
7. Saturn debilitated in Aries and highest point is 20 degree of Aries. The 20 degree of Aries means the Bharani nakshatra which is ruled by Venus again. Well, Libra is the Venus house where Saturn gets exalted( Though in swati nakshatra) in Venus house but gets debilitated in Venus Nakshatra. But Saturn and Venus both they thing they are friends of each others.

Simply we can see following things from the exaltation and debilitation of the planets - 

1. Where Sun is exalted Saturn is debilitated , where Saturn is exalted in the same house sun is Debilitated . So, we can say Saturn and sun may be of different aims in a planetary system.
2. In case Venus - mercury and mars - Jupiter the story is same. Where one is exalted the other is debilitated . Where the other is Debilitated the 1st one is exalted. So, we can say they both may be indicating different things - different to some extent.
3. Mars gets exalted in his own Nakshatra.
4. Saturn and rahu - One is maya and another one is Illusion. One is fake , cheater , liar and another one is honest , moral , karma , limits. They both are Friends astrologically but Saturn highest exalted degree is in Nakshatra of rahu. 
5. Venus gets exalted in Nakshatra of Mercury but gets debilitated in the house of mercury.
6. Mercury is the only planet choose own house to get exalted. 
7. Moon is the planet whose exaltion/ debilitation degree is very short only 3 degree.
8. On the other hand mars exaltion/ debilitation range is so long i.e. 28 degree.
9. Some consider Rahu and ketu exaltation but I dont consider it. Share what you think regarding Rahu and ketu exaltion/ debilitation.
10. Saturn gets exalted after every 30 years almost , Jupiter after 12 years. Charts exalted with Saturn and/ or Jupiter people may be called lucky.

15 degree of Virgo..Hasta Nakshatra( Ruled by moon)...Mercury

yes, you named it right . The Mercury, who chooses own house and to get exaltation. After the exaltation degree it enters in Mool-trikon sign untill 30 degree. The Virgo have totally different character than any other in zodiac. They have the such kind of talents that other dont have . The Virgo is the most knowledgeable . They have the knowledge and that is actually an asset of every Virgo. They have the best speech in the world but the speech have a strong 'desire'   . Speech is the their assets. Through the speech they could win the game. They could any profession which is related to speech. Thats why the profession of lawyer , coach etc suits them a lot. His/ her speech will say that he is no less than you, his speech will say he is brutal and no mercy in it. The childish face also says he or she is different than others. 

Generally he is a cool guy, how ever when anger touches him, he/ she just cannot control it. Continue to speaking and speaking and then make people crazy. However, I have seen many virgo natives need to struggle a lot in life and money does not come to them easily. The lagna lord and 10th lord is same. So, the effect/aspects/ association of mercury is important all the time. Jupiter needs to be checken. Is Jupiter in the 7th house not considered good for a married life?

One simple question could raise lot of questions.. Jupiter the guru in 7th house may not always bless you with the high qualified , high status partner - yet you need to see lot of factors for that. 

My friend kailash is a successful business, Jupiter is in 7th house is in Libra( Swati nakshatra) and 7th lord is Venus is in 11th house( Aries lagna he is). He marriade two times both were failure. Finally the 2nd wife is seeking divorce form him and he is now looking to a life new. I had told him that your marriage life will never be good but he did not believe in Jyotish . His 7th lord venus is in 11th hosue i.e. Aquarius in PurvaBhadrapada nakshartra . But the fact that native is a good business man.. Millionaire. He have home which is piece of art. A good business . Whatever he touches he gets success. Surprisingly his 8th house( house of Intimacy in marriage life is in 6th house) 

Another friend Dev, who is leo lagna , 8th lord Jupiter is in 7th house Satabhisa Nakshatra. Native is a 1st class officer of west Bengal govt. owner of 5 homes(Including 1 flat) but marriage life collapsed. One marriage but not physical relation both stays in different places. very pathetic life. Live alone in flat. Native have 7th lord is in 6th house( Along with ketu).

Well, Classics says where Jupiter seats it expands that houses. This is true  but to some extent. Jupiter and Saturn is one of the biggest planet in the solar system. You know the characteristics of a gas ? It expands. From that point I can Jupiter will enhance where it seats. It Jupiter is in 10th house it should enhance your profession , status , job profile. If Jupiter seats in 2nd house it will expand your wealth and also those houses which it aspects( Like form 2nd it will aspect 5th hosue, 7th house and 9th house i.e. 6th house , 8th house and 10th house - So, native will have good career and ultimately lot of self build wealth form profession). So, logically, when Jupiter will be in your 6th house it will incrase the number of enemies( Like Pandit Nehru , who have 6th house jupiter and had lot of enemies starting with  Britishes , Pakisthan , China , Bangladesh etc and situation of the country were extremely complicated on those days) . 

In fact, when Jupiter is in malefic house(or aspects) it will increase the  maleficness of that house. In 7th house Jupiter will aspect your 11th house, lagna and 3rd house. Native will have l0t of wealth, fulfilment of wishes. lagna will be strong. Just because Jupiter is in 7th house does not mean marriage life may be bad. But, like I said before it will destroy some good qualities of that house when Guru the havy planet seats in a house. So, may be marriage life may have some bugs but not that bad. It will save the marriage. In the 2nd case, both are not divorced but just lives separately. When Jupiter is in 7th house it increases the mass connection qualities, the business power( 7th house is for business too) and it will increase the natives business qualities. It will also strengthen the lagna as well.

WHY JUPITER GETS HIGHEST EXALTATION POWER IN HOLY PUSHYA NAKSHATRA

Hello Friends, Today I am going to tell you regarding the holy Pushya Nakshatra. It is the 8th Nakshatra form nakshatra cycle and arrives form 3°20′ to 16°40′ Cancer and probably the most beneffic Nakshatra out of all nakshatras. Lord of two rashis( Pisces and Sagittarius) Jupiter gets its exaltation power here( within 15 degree of cancer). This Nakshatra is ruled by Saturn( Lord of Capricorn and Aquarius ) As we know the the Jupiter's duty is to expand, where it seats it expands the functions of that house. If jupiter is in 2nd house. It will increase your wealth(self build wealth) , if Jupiter occupies your 10th house it will increase/ expand your professional filed(Native may be involved in multiple professions). When Jupiter in Pushya Nakshatra its gets its highest exaltation power due to expanding nature support form Saturn. For any lagna if Jupiter is in Pushya, it is considered as exalted will expand the things of that house. LETS UNDERSTAND IT WITH A FEW EXAMPLES. -Libra lagna Jupiter exalted in Pushya. My own chart reading is today’s hot topic you know, there are lots of things speak, there are lots of things to say , there are lots of things to mention , lots of things to write . When you are learning astrology, your 1^st duty to study the charts starting with owns self. Actually for own self you don’t need any astrology. You know yourself very much well than astrology. You can tell yourself more than an astrologer of what you like, what you don’t, how you feel etc. When it is probably astrology needs you to evaluate your astrology knowledge.

Let’s discuss my own birth chart here. I would not tell the birth time here for security purposes. But I will let you know all the details specially the planetary positions here.

Asc - Sagittarius - 09-54-39 - Mula – 3

Jupiter – Retrograde - Cancer - 19-27-37 – Ashlesha – 1 -            Exalted

Venus – Direct - Sagittarius - 09-45-25 - Mula – 3 - Neutral

Saturn – Direct - Capricorn - 00-01-40 - Uttarashadha -            2 - Own

Rahu – Retrograde - Capricorn - 06-18-10 - Uttarashadha - 3

Basic - now all you can see the planetary positions out there. I am Scorpio rashi and Sagittarius lagna and according to western astrology my rashi is also Scorpio and rising is Sagittarius. The sun and moon is placed in same house here.  I have born in Anuradha star as well.

Planetary positions – Let me explain the planetary positions. They are following –

1^st house (Lagna) – mercury + Venus, aspect of mars (8th eye)

2^nd house – Saturn + Rahu, aspect of Jupiter, Ketu

4^th house – No planet and only Saturn’s 3^rd eye

6^th house – Only retrograde mars and aspect of sun, moon

7^th house – No Planets, aspect of lagna, Venus, mercury

8^th house – Jupiter + Ketu is sitting and aspect of Saturn, Rahu

9^th house – aspect of retrograde mars

11^th house – No planet only aspect of Saturn’s 10^th eye

12^th house – sun and moon and aspects by retrograde mars (Mars is actually inspecting Scorpio – own house)

1.        1^st house – Like I said before the 1^st house is the 50% of your kundli, it is you, your body, how you interact to the works, overall your life, goods and bads throughout the life and like that. Basically sun, moon and lagna and aspects of planets will tell a man everything – you don’t need to check any other house for this. The sun is the soul, moon is the mind and lagna how you interact you with the world. The lagna is also with Venus (very close and same degree) and also with mercury. The Venus is in enemy house, though Jupiter doesn’t have any aspect on his own house or any other eye of Jupiter that’s why Jupiter doesn’t have any influence on it. The Venus will help to get luxury throughout the life. The mercury is retrograde as well. H0wever along with lagna mercury acts as a strong planet and Venus too. Mercury gave me intelligence throughout the life. Mercury also the speech. Since it was retrograde I had little stammering problem throughout the life. Every work, every action is now being controlled by intelligence. This also speaks that throughout the life I have to speak.

2.      2^nd house – The 2^nd house is for home , house , flats , car , fixed assets , wealth , speech , drink , self created property , self confidence , clothes etc. This house is occupied by Saturn and Rahu. I have read variety types of comments regarding this Saturn and Rahu combination. Some says it is bad. Some says it just acts as a double Saturn. I do think since Saturn is in 00 degrees and Rahu stays at a distance with Saturn, Rahu is under control of Saturn. Saturn is all about delay and karmic debts. So, maybe I had ignores work on those areas of life and that’s why Saturn is there probably.  Some also says Saturn in 2^nd house is the karmic debts towards my family. Yes, this fact is partially true for me I had to work a lot for my parents (father and mother both) and elder brother. The Saturn is inspecting the 3^rd house i.e. 4^th house form lagna and 11^th house form lagna. I also read that Saturn and Rahu are friends not sure why. Saturn make things delay where Rahu make things very fast, it could give success over night and all of sudden. Though in my life I had received sudden wealth during my Rahu antardosha. I think, Saturn both are friends and try to make the things successfully here. This 2^nd house is also being inspected by Jupiter and Ketu. Like you see Jupiter is retrograde + exalted here and Ketu added the separation, spirituality here.

3.       3^rd house – The 3^rd house is also the Saturn’s house. It is Aquarius. This house doesn’t have any planets. So, we have to look where the lord of the 3^rd house is situated and this is Saturn and Saturn is situated in 2^nd house .This means the lord of 3^rd house and 2^nd house is situated in 2^nd house. So, there is a connection between 2^nd house and 3^rd house. The 3^rd house is for local movements, short journeys, manual skills, labor, strength, courage etc. All these are given by Saturn. Since the planet of these two houses is Saturn make sure all of these functionalities are being provided by Saturn. Like I said before Saturn is powerful in my kundli, it does late but don’t deny. So, yes there is delay in getting results in most of areas of my life and along with hurdles.

4.      4^th house – Here, 4^th house also don’t have any planets. But there are aspect of Saturn (3rd eye). So, make sure all the things will be controlled by Saturn. 4^th house is the basic happiness of life. So, there will be happiness but in later life. While Saturn represents old age. So, my young life was really very troublesome. Now when I am writing all these my age is 27 and I am still having very hard, troublesome life for me. Happiness is nowhere. I really don’t get any support from my parents. Everything is for me is self build. 4^th house also represents Mind, heart, feelings, happiness, close friends, all family members, the mother, all well-wishers, home, comforts, home country, landed property, houses, gardens, underground treasures, wells, agricultural products, vehicles, horses, elephants, cows, buffaloes, goats and sheep, holy places, moral virtues, devotion to God, piety, righteous conduct, character, good name and reputation, education, erudition, ultimate results – so all these get delayed. The 4^th house also have 9^th eye of Jupiter so after all luck is not all bad.

5.      5^th house – 5^th houses is actually empty. So, I have to check where 5^th lord is and how it works. Here the 5^th lord is mars and it is retrograde. Mars is in Taurus house and lord of Taurus is Venus. The relationship between mars and Venus lies in extreme hunger in life in term of demand, luxury, pleasures of bed etc. So the 5^th house lord is now taking care of 6^th house.

6.      6^th house – The 6^th house stands for Worries, anxieties, obstacles, enemies, thieves, vices, challenges, tests, urge for perfection, self-improvement techniques, competitive power, turning obstacles into opportunities, difference of opinion, conflicts, debts, diseases, suffering, wounds, service, daily job, imprisonment . Yes I don’t have any enemies. Though mars is retrograde still it killed enemies at last. Sitting 6^th house mars is inspecting 1st house (lagna ), 12^th house and 10^th house. Now, you will ask how it would be when eyes on lagna? surely it made be brave , hungry for power and a military like attitude. It gave me courage while doing any work and metal power. Thanks to mars. 

7.      7^th house – 7^th houses is called the rest of the world. Lots of things we can learn from here. If the sun = soul, then moon = mind, lagna = your physics and 7^th house = rest of the world. My 7^th lord is mercury and sitting in lagna. Though it is retrograde but in lagna all planets are considered as strong. Now, go to lagna and think what the 1^st house or lagna actually does. That’s means the functions of 7^th house are with me. In addition to this, mercury is not just the 7^th lord; it is my 10^th lord too. So, the areas of 7^th house and 10^th house are actually with me. Now let’s look what 7^th house does and 10^th house does. 7^th house is for Husband, wife, partner, lover, marriage, partnership, sexual affairs, medium-term desires, business partner, co-operation, trade, commerce, travel, journeys, litigation, living abroad, nature of spouse, relationship with all others, the world at large as seen by the native, happiness from children and 10^th house is for Activity, occupation, profession, career, reputation, prestige, success and status in society, honor from government, , promotion, rank, renown, fame, ambition, happiness, authority, royalty, ruling power etc. If we filter down the highly prioritized work of 7^th house and 10^th house you will say 7^th house is for wife and business partners and 10^th house is for occupation, job etc. So, that means these two things is with lagna – i.e. with me. That means who is my wife , she could be business partner too , she could be working with same business too. She could be working in the same company where I am working. When wife comes with me that my part of my lagna will come to me. The 7^th house have eyes of mercury (own house) and Venus. So, seventh lord will help to get business 7^th lord will see business as well. Still I am not married and let’s see how married life goes actually.

8.      8^th house – The 8^th house have long duties. It tells us the longevity, the length of life. It tells us how you will die, when you will die at what conditions you will die. This will also continue to extent the longevity of the 8^th house as well. The other non-important functions that we could draw form 8^th house is  - mode of death , wealth of spouse( though it is not just depend on 8^th house but also form some other houses as well ) , unearned wealth, inheritance, underground places, hidden treasures, everything hidden, mysteries of life and "death," overseas journeys etc. In my kundli, the 8^th house is occupied by Jupiter and Ketu and aspected by Saturn and rahu. It is being said that Jupiter does harm where it sits but benefits where sees. Also, look at the conditions of Jupiter it is exalted and retrograde at the same. Now, that is the main point. The meaning of exalted and retrograde is understood wrongly. So, far with just of my 6^th months of knowledge in astrology I don’t how it works, though my age is 27 and I have analyzed and filtered down in my own mind how retrograde and exalted Jupiter actually works but it does not affect me that much.  Different astrologers have different ideas regarding this retrograde and exalted Jupiter. However, we will discuss all this in past blogs. The most dependable theory of retrograde and exalted Jupiter is that it provides 50% retrograde effects of past life, 25% effect of where it sits and 25% of previous house. That means of 7^th house. Now, you know my 7^th house also have 25% effect (exalted) of Jupiter. The Saturn and rahu (means double Saturn) will also start harming me. The functions of 8^th house are actually mixed by Jupiter and Ketu aspect of Saturn and rahu aspect. We need to see higher line of calculation so that you could know who is going to do effect and who is not.

9.      9^th house – 9^th houses is the dharma house. We will get following things from 9^th house – the religious life, the spiritual life, I will be religious or not, govt. favor, the types if son, the luck of sons etc. In my case the 9^th house doesn’t have any planets and 9^th lord is sun is in 12^th house. I will explain when I will be on 12^th house.

10.   10^th house – The 10^th house is for jobs, profession, support form govt. and that’s why 10^th house like I said is in lagna. I have also the situation where 7^th and 10^th lord is same and how it is affecting me. There is no aspect of any other planet on 10^th.

11.     11^th house – The 11^th house is for Income, gains, profits, all articles, prosperity, long-term desires, fulfillment of desires, fulfillment of dreams and ambitions in life. There is no planet and there are eyes of Saturn in it. Since Saturn is strong so, this thing will happen but with delay, hurdles etc. The 11^th lord is here is Venus and 6^th lord as well. The both lord is along with lagna. So, they also act as a strong planet.

12.    12^th house – The 12^th is the most important part of life. It is the happiness of life, pleasures of bed – and all kind of pleasures. Some says 12^th house is the house of spending, if conditions of this house are and all money goes to waste. I don’t agree with this at all. I have seen people with Venus in 12^th house are extremely happy in life. If you don’t have money how can you spend? If you cannot spend how can you have pleasures? Well you know that pleasures are not free of cost. In my chart 12^th house is occupied by Sun and debilitated moon, however aspected by mars. The mars is inspecting in own house actually. So, of course the debilitation cancels. The 12^th house gets heads strong.

Apart than this, there are thousands of lines that I am not just telling you. It takes 100 pages of a book to tell of a person’s Kundli. But these are the basic that a person could learn form a blog or a person can tell regarding his own horoscope.
